Instructional Ideas
  • Lead a discussion about slope in the real world, such as ski slopes and ramps
Classroom Considerations
  • Needs dynamic geometry software for the second activity
  • This resource is only available on an unencrypted HTTP website. It should be fine for general use, but don’t use it to share any personally identifiable information
Pros
  • Includes detailed directions to construct drawings using the geometry software
  • Contains suggestions for differentiation
Cons
  • Slope formula does not display correctly in the first activity
  • The second activity references the wrong question numbers in a follow-up question
