Two Minutes, Twice a Day

This Two Minutes, Twice a Day lesson plan also includes:

Don't forget to brush your egg! Children try to brush the stains off of hard boiled eggs in the final instructional activity of this oral health series. The egg experiment from the previous two days is concluded as pupils record and discuss their final observations. Looking at the egg that has been sitting in soda, kids attempt to remove the stains using a toothbrush and tooth paste. The teacher times them as they scrub in order to emphasize the importance of brushing for two full minutes. As an extension, consider having the class create addition/subtraction word problems involving the time it takes to brush your teeth.
